The English seem to be very good at celebrating St.Patricks Day with the Irish - but our own guy just seems to just get ignored.

@JohnPhilpin I think it would be fair to say that celebrating St George’s day feels a little too associated with racism in many prople’s minds. I’d love to see modern multi-cultural Britain reclaim it, though.

@JohnPhilpin To be fair, so don’t remember St Andrew’s Day being much of a thing when I was a child in Scotland - perhaps St Patrick’s Day is just an outlier?
