My name is Adam Vinueza, and welcome to my micro blog! My writings here fall into the broad categories of software engineering, culture, (rarely) politics, my adventures as a parent and spouse, and running (I’m an avid runner). My day job is as a software engineer. Currently I write a lot in Go, less in JavaScript, still less in Python. I have scars from C# and Java. Once upon a time, I was an academic (PhD in Philosophy--AMA about pure thought), but it didn’t take. Software engineering pays better, I get to leave my work at the office when I come home, and I don’t get into absurd, venomous intellectual spats with my colleagues in the office.
