Watching “The Diplomat” on Netflix. 📺
I’m nearly at the end of episode two and can’t tell how much it’s trying to be a comedy…versus a West Wing style drama.
But frankly, I’ll watch absolutely anything featuring Rufus Sewell.
@TheMacPsych this show was a really nice surprise for me; I loved its tone — which I think you've correctly identified is a little unusual — and thought it was very well written. It certainly gets a little less... believable as things go on, but I enjoyed the ride.
@adam I finished the entire season during my flights to Singapore. Very entertaining, but as you say, less believable by the minute. Still, I hope there’s a second season!
