Planning directions from a city centre to a major hospital. Two significant locations, both of which are table stakes for modern map services made by the big companies.

The results:

• Apple: Laughably bad.
• Google: Got it in a few seconds.

Why isn’t Apple better at this?

@SimonWoods we went to a restaurant at the weekend, and being a big user of Apple Maps (when I use it), it was the usual flow… it was 3 miles off target. The listing was wrongly placed. Downloaded Google Maps, and boom. First time that happened to me.
