Really enjoy my ESV Reader’s Bible, but can confirm the beautiful cloth over board cover definitely attracts dog hair 🤦‍♂️😂

@nathanrhale looks a great morning devotional size. I have a Cambridge ESV hard bound I’m neglecting. I like my NET journaling a bit too much! I’d love to get an NRSV with deutocanonical books too.

@ChrisJWilson Haha glad to connect on the Bible nerd level :) Let me add another to your list: the NRSVue w/Apocrypha. Absolutely lovely to hold and has one of the most beautiful interiors of any Bible I own, and I think an excellent value as well.

@ChrisJWilson Which edition of the NET JB do you have? I'd love to have journaling Bible that I use for preaching - keeping all my notes in a single volume - and this could be a candidate

@nathanrhale @aa I preach from a Crossway ESV Heirloom with the 2011 text. Daily and personally, I read from a Schuyler CSB that I love. However, when I open Logos and when I teach in seminary, I almost exclusively use the NRSVue. It's an exceptional translation.

@KyleEssary all good! I can actually nerd out a bit on Bibles :-) grew up a PK so always had a nice rotation at home.

@nathanrhale I have the leathersoft brown with two ribbons. I wish the margins were larger and the lines closer together to be honest. I don't make as many notes anymore due to the lack of space but It's still lovely to hold. The NRSVue looks fantastic!

@aa Have you ever done any rebinding of bibles? I wondered about it a few years back but never made the jump. There's a whole industry of rebinders out there.

@KyleEssary NIce - I also enjoy the NRSVue. Love the edition with the Apocrypha. I'm also a Logos user, but I've been turning to the LEB there lately for a more "word-for-word" approach.

@ChrisJWilson I have not but have been asked to. Have made plenty of leather Bible covers though.
