@aa there is most of a chair in there, wood rough cut for a couple of benches, and a walnut charcuterie board to be glued up once the temp warms up this afternoon. At the moment I’m shaping legs for the bench. What kind of woodworking did you do?

@aa I enjoy seeing the process photos of your leather work, by the way— never quite know what to say about them, but to someone who has only dabbled in leather work they are always interesting.

@dwalbert exciting projects! I was just getting into 17th century woodworking, carving, etc. primarily working with axe, chisels/gouges, and hand planes. Hope to get back into it one day, when I have the space to do so.

@aa that sounds like a lot of fun. I work almost all with hand tools but have not gone that far back in time. One of these days I’d really like to take a class from Peter Follansbee… I do love that carving!
