@ericmwalk I’ve thought of doing this in our yard. Any tips from your experience?

@aa tips.. I have lots of random tips do you have any specific questions? My biggest tip which I always have to remind myself is wait to flood. I jumped the gun one year and just had standing water for a month and me hoping the tarp and boards would hold.

@ericmwalk boards around the sides...recommended height? The one concern I do have is temperatures. I’m in central PA and our winters lately have been pretty mild.

@aa I don't put boards around the side. The boards I use probably have about 6in to keep the puck in in some places and a foot in others. My backyard is pretty wide open but if you are worried about flying pucks another option is netting on the ends. As for temp depends on how flat is your yard is for how long it will take to freeze everything. After that as long as you can have more freezing temps that above it should be ok.
