Carved a ladle of sorts. Not perfect but useful.
Included a comfortable spot for the index finger (and thumb).
Using it for dog food 😂
@gregmoore no actually! Guess I never shared the final result of the one that won me the stitches (it is a cooking/serving spoon that is a birthday gift for my niece). This dog food scoop was just an idea I wanted to try... didn’t turn out exactly how I imagined but that’s the fun part for me, seeing where the carving will go.
@aa Ah, we’ll I hope she appreciates what went into making it. As for the dog scoop, It’s cool that wood allows for m experiments like making the bowl off center.

Agreed regarding the experimentation possible with wood. Makes it easy/fun to correct mistakes. Just a turn in the road.
