Does anybody have any ideas how to motivate a child to do his homework. Especially when the thought of working for school causes physical pain to them. I could need some help right now.

@V_ No advice. But you have my sympathies. I’m in a similar spot with one of my kids that schoolwork and stress causes physical pain.
