I’m not sure if I’m using the iOS Obsidian app correctly. But I find it very bothersome to place the cursor where I want it. Especially when I have a link directly at the beginning of the file.

@V_ I have trouble on a lot of apps on iOS too, especially when trying to paste in the middle of a context (like when creating a markdown link). The “hard press on space to make it like a trackpad” is about the only thing that works.
@toddgrotenhuis, does iOS recognize markdown links everywhere now? Or was the link context just an example.
Thanks for mentioning the spacebar as a trackpad — I totally forgot it exists. I need to test it out.
@V_ just an example that’s extra-infuriating. Because tapping “internally” between the brackets or parenthesis, and again (usually) to get the “paste” option, is even harder than just doing at the end of a text block.
@toddgrotenhuis @V_ I actually had this issue with Micro blog too recently (or drafts. I can’t remember where exactly I was writing). I was trying to add a markdown link,, struggled to get my cursor in the right place and then could pull up the quick action menu. I tried three finger pressing but It either didn’t work or moved the cursor out.
@ChrisJWilson I’ve notice it as well in the email client today as well. Seams to generally be fiddly stuff.
