@TheLoneSentry I hate changing to new shoes, but I could not adapt to the "skate" version of Vans shoes when they ended the Pro line. I tried. I then tried the New Balance NM255 because they looked closest to a Vans Era. I like them. I have pretty wide feet. I was relieved to find something that didn't make blisters on my heels.
@TheLoneSentry Of course now it looks like they don't make the 255 any more. Bullshit fashion-oriented business model for shoes. I hate it.
@bloftin2 If you may remember, I railed SO HARD against the "skate" line when they first came out. I hated them. I firmly believe that their were some production issues with the first ones that were released. My subsequent pairs have not had the same issue as the first ones. That said, I still think it was lame that Vans suddenly changed a shoe most people loved. They should have added the "skate" version as an additional option, rather than a replacement.
