It makes me sad that we have a need for Twitter “thread readers”. Maybe “unroll” things in your head first, post a nice article to your blog, then tweet a link to it.

@jack This is one of the main reasons I don't read (or even use) Twitter in a personal context. It seems to work well for some people and they're happy to tolerate that design, whilst others talk as if they dislike but must tolerate it, however it's just not for me. I do miss reading the blogging of certain people but I don't miss it when it is within the design of the silos so overall I'm much happier without it.

@jack ... and then literally within an hour I take a quick look at the twitter feed of one of those people I miss and am instantly filled with that deep uncertainty. I'm sure this is mostly my own problem and indicative of the bad things these silos can do to your brain... but still, that's where everybody is. 😐
