What Guillermo del Toro said. I‘ve honestly had it up to here 🖕🏻 with AI. All that these companies do is go after the easiest and flashiest thing and they do so by stealing other people’s work and art. Fuck that. Develop AI to the point of being useful and curing illnesses or GTFO.

The problem is, for some reason, a lot of the people who I see getting hyped about AI and talk about it are spending barely any effort on promoting that side of things. It's strange to me since those AI fans would clearly be better served by focusing on that positive use of the technology.
