@JohnPhilpin I have to admit that this mindset is becoming increasingly useful for me, beyond writing even. When I found that even BBEdit has a "Focus" mode it also become clear that many other people take it quite seriously.

@SimonWoods Do not recommend. I have had one. Their customer service is abhorrent. Their firmware update process is very bad. And they did this to people: https://www.reddit.com/r/Astrohaus/comments/fluzgq/missedtheupdate/ (Background: I think this was firmware update 1.4; you had to update before a certain date. If you missed it, you missed it. I never received a message from them that I had to update and missed it, furthermore after a long back and forth with their support and agreeing to pay to do the update in-house and shipping my device off to the US they informed me that they actually can't do it. They claim they sent it back to me bot it got lost in the mail. Complete madness. Don't support that company.)

I've noticed this kind of thing elsewhere so I'm going to send them an email and test out their support before making a purchase. They seem to be a tiny company so I have a lot more patience with potential problems when compared to the mass market companies; even so, I'm not willing to spend a lot of money if they're not capable of providing good support.

Either way, assuming I'm comfortable with their current state of support and the like I will be starting with their cheapest model so that I can be sure that I want this type of machine in my life.

@SimonWoods It's good to approach it that way. And YMMV. But I'm not the only one that got bitten in the behind by them. Take care!
