Finding something other than a stream on literally two websites is unreasonably difficult. I understand that I’m An Old now and everything but have we really distorted the music industry to the point where the record shop convenience of merely 15 years ago is just gone?
It was so easy... there were multiple options in the city and you would just go in and could trust that you were purchasing something, with no need to research a company beforehand since the website looks less than great... I mean, there's nothing good about this process?
Starting to realise my issue is specifically to do with the idea of trusting and verifying anything in the world of the web. Of course it is better than it used to be but I was spoiled by growing up in a booming retail market, in which this was all a lot clearer and much more diverse.
