@adders It seems advertising is where the money is, whether selling it or making it.
@alanralph Yes, I've significantly decreased my listening of tech podcasts, because I've gone from 2/3 years replacement cycles to 5 to 7 years, and people enthusing about the latest thing they've just bought got more and more uncomfortable, both on a financial comparison level, but also a sustainability one.
I've switched to outdoors and nature podcasts, though.
@SimonWoods Well, to be fair, those prices look very different when you're buying for a business (which they all will be) and can knock off the sales tax and amortise the cost over three years... I miss the happy days when I could do things like that!
@ianbetteridge Yep. I would be doing the exact same thing. I mean, I'm unsure that I could sum up the nerve to sell a membership program as hard as some of these folks do but to each their own.
