@tibz It's like that one idiot who had an opinion piece published (on like Forbes or Bloomberg or some other business crap) in which he asserted that the US government should sell all libraries to Amazon.
@issimonwoods I'd be laughing if it wasn't such a tragic argument to make. Of course, this train of thought would come from a specific segment of the population based in the US 🙃
@tibz Frightening stuff. If anything, excessive exposure to the web has made me adamant that local spaces and services are foundational elements of strong communities.
