What do you use to spread things on a flat surface? For example, spreading butter or peanut butter on bread. Do you use a spoon? Do you use a knife? What do most people use? : annieo.micro.blog

@_Annie I will use both. But, I will prefer one over the other if I can continue using the utensil for another step in the process. Such as using a knife to spread butter and then cutting toast with knife.

@_Annie I’m a recent convert to team spoon.

@_Annie Usually a knife*, but anything clean will do when I’m out of knives. (I should probably do dishes more often. Used to have a dishwasher, but where I live now it’s no space for it).

I use Melange, and keep it in the fridge, so it’s hard, therefore usually a knife.

@JMaxB @odd @maique @Cheri @pimoore @Burk I’ve always used a knife, unless I need some jam and @Gaby has always used a spoon. We’ve had this debate for years! 😜

@_Annie @odd @maique @Cheri @pimoore @Burk @JMaxB spoon 🥄, always a spoon, more surface area !

@pimoore troubled !! 😅

@pimoore I do too, if I bother to spread on Melange first, otherwise it’s mostly spoon for me with jam.

@JMaxB you’re using the spoon upside down

@pimoore none of the above! I do the same, sometimes 😉😬

@_Annie @pimoore , hence, troubled , both of you 🙈😂

@Gaby both. Depends on the mood. Sometimes a specific butter knife.

@_Annie I didn’t even know there was a choice! Now I’m interested in spoon experimenting.
