Coronavirus: 10 Italian Towns in Lockdown. Worse, the virus is in Iran, Lebanon and Egypt and I’m not sure those three countries can contain the spread.

@bradenslen to be honest I’m not sure that any country will be able to contain it. As a headteacher in the UK we’ve been told to not close until there is a confirmed case. By which point it will have spread around most of the school. Schools are all coming back from half-term on Monday so I’d expect an increase of cases towards the start of next week in the UK.

@RossA It's a tough choice for governments everywhere: they don't want panic so they tell people to just carry on, yet by carrying on the pandemic might spread.
