All the plants in the yard have grown a lot since we were last here three years ago. Not too surprising, with jungle nearby.
@simonwoods Yes, and birds singing in the trees nearby, with songs that are new to me, as Asian sounds are all new to me. Birds everywhere are all so fantastic.
@Ron Agreed! I always have a pang of melancholy whenever I see birds in urban areas. They're still surviving in spaces where we have stolen their homes and in many cases reduced the areas to soulless, drab blocks...
@simonwoods Yes, there's that, but they still have one advantage. They never ever have to listen to the politicians go on and on about how things oughta be. ð
