Whenever I watch clips of Queen live I just… ugh Freddie was the definition of superstar.

@simonwoods I have not watched many clips, but Queen's music always got me. So good and so unlike what other bands were doing at the time. Freddie's talent as a song writer, singer and showman was phenominal. // @vasta

@bradenslen So true about Freddie. His loss was huge. I hope his videos can all be preserved and made available with a very broad distribution, while maintaining fair compensation to his estate for the amazing art he created.

@vasta He was so good that I'd bet in this modern age a lot of people in his audience would forget to hold their phones up during a performance.

@Ron @bradenslen Couldn't agree more, on all points. As for his performances, his call-and-response routine at Wembley is just amazing. This is in front of tens and tens of thousands of people, maybe over one hundred thousand people all told and he is so natural. Just amazing.

@simonwoods Yes, really terrific! Thanks for the link, I had seen it before, but great to revisit it. :-)
