These are the things that work and have a real benefit when Iā€™m feeling drained and want to be kind to myself:

  1. Double my usual meditation time.
  2. Anything outside.
  3. Moderate physical exertion.
  4. Time with friends and family.

You can do more than one at a time.

@jthingelstad That looks like a really useful list of successful actions you've gathered together there. I'm going to ponder about that because I think it would be really useful to have such a list of things that work for me. As I grow older I think I might need to know what I can rely upon in hard times. And there will be hard times. Thanks a lot for suggesting a path that is worth considering. šŸ™
