@frankm Yes, that would annoy me too. I think Google really likes weather apps, as it's a good reason to keep Location services on, which gives them a lot more data to collect. I'm usually at home, so I can keep checking weather for that one location w/o having Location services turned on.

One annoying thing about running Android apps on the Pixelbook is caused by weather apps that continually display a notification and thus the Pixelbook always show that I have one notification to display. There should be a setting to tell Chrome OS to not count these apps for the notifi... frankmcpherson.blog
