@ReaderJohn I’m glad you sent me back to it. Like MacIntyre, I had to change my mind in significant ways in my 50s; sometimes I lament having taken so long. But my head is full of the fashionable center of academic ideas, so I guess it’s a gift, too, to now have an inside-outside view.
