@nathanrhale Amen. Granted, MB hasn't been very good for keeping up with my diminishing stock of school classmates or catching what paid pundits are pretending to think at the moment. But I've made the acquaintance of other interesting folks, and we act like friends rather than schoolmarms.

@ReaderJohn I've found that customizing the FB feed for a specifict purpose (e.g. keeping up w old friends and fam) is easier and more natural once you make the switch to MB for general purpose microblogging. Takes some pressure off for FB to be the one source of info/community/expression online.
