Don’t. Use. Chrome.

@dhe I don’t believe it’s currently possible to browse the web with “total anonymity,” but I’d like to be as close to that as possible and to use and support products from companies that respect my privacy.
@cleverdevil Agreed, Chrome is gross, and getting grosser. I use it exclusively for work stuff, like GSuite apps. Nothing important to me personally gets anywhere near it.
@jbwhaley I currently use a combination of Firefox for work stuff and Safari for personal stuff with the excellent Choosy app to automatically redirect links to open in the right browser.
@cleverdevil I have long switched to Firefox. I find it surprising that Chrome has stopped being technically the superior option for some time now and still remains the leader.
Inertia is a bad thing, but I guess there's enough awareness for the browser switch to gain momentum again.
@cleverdevil I had not heard of Choosy. I'm giving it a test drive.
@cleverdevil I just switched to using Firefox for all my GSuite stuff on the work laptop, while keeping Safari for personal stuff. I’ll check out Choosey.
@cleverdevil I mostly use Vivaldi, but I do think the Firefox rendering engine needs more users. Thanks for mentioning Choosy. I see their are Choosy clones for Windows (but none for Linux). I may install a browser chooser on Windows and start using both Vivaldi and FF on that computer.
@ReaderJohn it’s great! I talked about how I use it on @twodads in episode two, including some tips.
@petebrown it’s great! Check out episode two of @twodads where I talk about how I use it.
