My mom got the call. Insurance has settled with the joyrider who killed my father. Feels disgusting that he’s getting 1.5 million out of it, but it could have been worse.
At least it’s over.
@pratik Short version is when there is a split in responsibliity (I think they called this one 60/40 based on a misunderstanding of the case and the fact that dad didn't live to tell his side) then both sides can technically sue. Mom did not. They did.
