@miljko As someone who lives within 30 minutes of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, I can vouch that 90% of Gatlinburg is tourist "trappy" (tshirt shops mostly) but, there are a few gems. Anakeesta is fairly new and a must see. Pigeon Forge is only 50% trapy if you don't count Dollywood. There are wonderful restaurants in both towns. Let me know if you need a restaurant recomendation.
@ProfessorFalken Oh, we missed out on Anakeesta but went to SkyLift, which we also enjoyed quite a bit. The restaurant we went to in Gatlinburg was so-so, any recommendation would be appreciated. We'll probably be back next year!
