@bsag I first used Emacs in the ‘80s and then intensively in the early ‘90s. Now my hand arthritis has put a stop to any thought of returning to the editor. 🙂
@Ozzie48 Maybe you need a keyboard with easier access to Emacs chords? I have home row modifiers, so no Emacs pinkie for me!
@Ozzie48 I've just read back my reply to you and it sounded to me like typical 'Reply Guy' behaviour, even though I am not a guy! So sorry about that. I know how painful conditions like arthritis can be, so I am sure that I was glibly suggesting solutions that you didn't ask for, and that you have probably already tried and don't work well for you.
@bsag Thanks for your concern. Interestingly enough I suspect my mouse usage exacerbates the issue so I have been known to use dictation on occasion or (as right now) to take advantage of Apple’s algorithm for fixing typos or word suggestions during iPhone writing.
