@ddanielson Lamy 2000 fountain ink is approx. £200 in the UK. Wow! Like ... Why? Haha!

@ridwan is £110 for mine in 2015. Beautiful smooth writing and prob one of the best designed fountain pens. Until you come across the Lamy dialogue 🖋️🤦🏽‍♂️

@ridwan haha fair question. It is like watches, the materials and craftsmanship leads to a higher price. Sometimes it is brand. E.g, Montblanc has come out as an expensive and desired brand, but it is Waterman that offers a lifetime warranty. Rolex holds a high price and the most manufactured annually. They also do not go down in value, so it’s all a bit about brand and the rest is consumer driven.
