Does anybody have experiences with (near) teenagers with to high expectations about themselves? But not wanting to put in the work to reach the expected results?

@Munish I’m not sure we are already at the point of having a conversation. At the moment the topic is too painful for her to talk about.

@stupendousman The thing I’m bothered the much is also that she has good grades (with minimal work) but beeing conwinced that she is not good at all. Like bringing a B home and behaving like it was an F (not sure wether I translated the grading system correctly here OO).
