I made this incredibly well designed graphic to help choose a new EDC/GADA watch. I’ve narrowed it down to 12. What do you think? (Criteria: 40-42mm, sapphire preferred, automatic preferred. Will wear casual and dress-casual. ★ = would change strap.)

@Mtt Oh, another Hamilton watch fan. Nice! Some nice ones there to choose from... I'm partial to #1 but curious what strap you'd put on it.

@cjhubbs Huge fan. I actually used to have that watch (Murph). I also used to have an active EDC instagram. Here it is on a green NATO and here on a brown leather. And the original black.

@larand If I could find the SARB017, I would grab it. My one holdup on the new version is the cyclops. I can’t stand those.

@Mtt I’m with you. I hate a cyclops on a watch. Although I understand that with a hair dryer and some patience, they can be removed.

@Mtt Another vote for number 10. I like the dark face plus the orange contrast with the olive green strap

@alexandra @nsmsn That’s a classic. And one that’s probably in the finals. The strap from 10 on watch 1 is also a contender.

@Mtt I have a field watch from Vaer which I love. Based on what you are looking at, I think you might be interested in what they offer. From your choices, I’d probably go with #1 for EDC, although #9 is more fun and hard to resist.

@Mtt I actually have 11 on today and I love the straight lines. I went back and forth whether I'd get it with a silicon band or metal and went with metal in the end after trying both on. I wanted something a little more dress than casual.

@Mtt If I'm not too late for the party, and having recently taken ownership of a Traska Venturer GMT that I am loving, of that grouping you have, I'd go either with the #11 Tissot or the #1 Murph. But that's just me. 😉
