There’s a new update for Tiny Theme that adds one of the most requested features. There’s now a separate plugin available that will enable summary/truncated posts on your home page instead of full posts. This is only triggered when your post has a title (meaning it will never summarize microposts).

@pratik The Fathom one and Browser Color one should be compatible with the majority of themes. Unfortunately, the only way I could figure out how to make the Summary one reliable and seamless was to make it specifically for Tiny as it basically rewrites an entire file.

@Mtt No worries. I can perhaps hard-code it into my theme. I’m very tempted to try out Tinytheme but don’t have the bandwidth right now for the tinkering that I’m sure to do.

You can (optionally) choose the truncation point of a particular post by adding a more tag wherever you'd like.

This is great. I think it would be helpful to add this sentence to the settings page for the plug-in.
