The latest Tiny Theme for Micro.blog update includes bug fixes for the newsletter template, bigfoot footnotes, and forms in dark mode. Soon, I hope to add some features specific to tinylytics and cross-posting too. Are there any other features you’d like?

@Mtt How does a theme make a difference for cross-posting?

@pratik Nothing functionally for the actual cross posting. But the theme could incorporate things like “view this post on X” or “also shared here” or “comment on X” with direct links to the crosspost.

@rcrackley Hmm. Not a bad idea. I would have to offer that as a separate plugin since Tiny (by design) has no built in scripts. Added to list.

@Mtt Got it. That would be more helpful with selective cross-posting, right? Otherwise might add clutter to each post.

@Mtt if you’re looking for features, May I suggest the two I use on my theme:
- Excluding posts of certain categories from the front page.
- option for ordering days in reverse chronological order but within days, posts are ordered chronologically.

@pratik I like both of those things, but due to how micro.blog handles settings for themes/plugins, it would have to be a separate plugin for each. I’d also like to offer an option for summaries only on home page. Got a list developing.

@Mtt Summaries-only is good but not for micro-posts. I’m not a fan of clicking thru to read the last two words ☺️
