It’s good to see Matter announce their pricing plans. A subscription makes sense.

I’ve yet to decide whether I’ll pay (when I can afford to do so) but even with barely any use I have been impressed by the mere existence of a Firefox extension. That bodes well.

@SimonWoods I seem to have missed this update. But I can't really afford another subscription. Sigh! Good I didn't get too used to it.

@amit I had guessed that there would be a subscription so I wasn't surprised. Mostly I'm relieved they didn't wait too long to announce it; I always feel uncomfortable when people stay quiet about their seemingly free products.

Hopefully they'll also update the free tier over time, though I don't have many expectations that it would happen much if at all.

@SimonWoods Even I have few expectations, they have clearly mentioned they want to keep parity with free read later services. So don't think they will include any of the differentiators in free. All said though, I anyway hadn't yet warm up to the features.
