So should I sign up for omg.lol?
@Gaby Random observation: your individual posts have a typo with “conversation on Micro.blog” part. Says Mircro.
@Mtt besides all of the other fun and great stuff that comes with, you know how fun it is to when someone as for your email, you go something.omg.lol and hear the stutter or seen their face lol
@Gaby Ha! I’m trying to figure out how it fits in with other things for me. I just left all of FB/Insta and merged Mastodon/Micro. Trying to decide if I want another service active or not. I have trouble saying No, so I’ll probably do it though.
@pimoore Trying to workout how it fits in for me. What do you use it for? Just the landing page?
@Mtt with all the fans on here, how are you not already using it! I signed up a little while ago to use it as a landing page primarily for now. My plan in some downtime in January is to broaden my use though. I liked the roadmap for the service and wanted to support the work so went all in for a 10yr subscription before the price increase ($5 -> $20/yr) on 1 January.
@meandering Yeah, I feel ashamed. Ha. I’ve been minimizing the different services I’m using for so long, I haven’t signed up for anything new in ages. But maybe now is the time.
@Mtt Right now I’ve got the landing page and the social.lol Mastodon instance. I need to start using status and other services, and am really looking forward to the weblog service that’s being worked on as we speak. It’s an excellent and fun platform!
@Mtt If you do figure it out, please share. 😂 I paid for 2-years but haven’t figured out how to fit it into my digital life other than a landing page that just floats out there on the internet. (Doesn’t help that I’m no longer on any of the big social networks.)
