I’ve been a recent convert to the Kindle + Libby setup for reading. Disappointed I didn’t dive into that ages ago. The Kindle Oasis (got it for a steal) makes all the difference for me.

@Mtt Me, too! I am loving the Libby integration with my new Kindle PaperWhite. Did you get a refurb Kindle Oasis for $99 recently? I saw that deal on Woot and almost went for it.

@mjdescy No, I got one on a Prime Day Deal. But I also had a 20% off from an old used Kindle (trade in) and 25% off from AmEx Rewards. So all that stacked made it an easy decision.

@Mtt love the Kindle and Libby/Overdrive. I’m a public librarian and it’s my favorite way to read.

@bloftin2 Hardest part for me is a less-than-great library system here with a limited selection. I’ve seen some people pay for out-of-state digital cards, but it seems most of those options have gone away (like Brooklyns). Any suggestions as a librarian?

@Mtt Yeah, people think "oh - eBooks - y'all will have everything," but libraries don't get any sort of "great deal" buying eBooks. Sometimes it is worse. Just as expensive as a paper copy in the long run.
