@thatguygriff ah! I first starting reading and was hoping that you did make it work. I find sad that none of these major text editors don’t have a direct publish to Mb option.
@Gabz Same here, and I still use it everyday on the Mac. Also started using it on iOS, also forever ago but I never got around to keep writing on the iPad or iPhone and now than I’m trying to get more work done on an iPad I find that Byword doesn’t quite do it anymore. Seems like there are a lot of other better text editors on iOS these days.
@MrHenko right! Byword a one point was a really good text editor. But as you said, there are better options these days. I do most of my writing between Drafts and Ulysses.
@Gabz I too use Drafts, but not for longer writing. It’s mostly for short scribbles and for microblog posts (using a Shortcut for the posting). Longer writing is something I haven’t done on the iPad for a long time, until now. Based on the MacStories post about using the iPad as a primary computer I’ve decided to try out Pretext.
@Gabz it was killer! Those were back on the nvAlt and syncing over SimpleNote days. Didn’t it support publishing to WordPress too?
@mattbirchler it did! However, at the time I didn’t quite have a blog. I was writing but mostly for myself then
