What do you use for breaking news? I check in with a few sources a few times a day to see what the latest crisis is. I check Google News, Apple News and my RSS reader. How about you?

@MitchWagner Google News, live-updating NYT pages (good for things like war in Iran), The Hill, Google Finance (often picks up stories on the home page faster than News for some reason), Digg (it’s back!). Those sources will get me the general flow of what’s going on. For thoughtful analysis, I depend on BBC and Economist podcasts.

@mitch i use the time-honored tradition of idgaf. I think it was Tim Ferriss who said if something was important enough, someone else would tell him randomly.

AP News at their website. If I am driving a car (rare) I might have NPR turned on, otherwise no TV or radio news

@MitchWagner Yahoo! News for a general overview and no paywall. I follow Tech News Bot on Mastodon for a deeper dive into new tech news. NPR in the car. When eating I have the Alexa can set up for a news briefing that includes NPR, BBC and DW as the main news sources.
