I Tried Listening to Podcasts at 3x and Broke My Brain:
I routinely listen to podcasts at 2x, which is as fast as my brain will go.
@MitchWagner Interesting. I listen to podcasts at 1.5x to 2x, depending on the podcast (using Overcast, which does an excellent job of faster speeds), but can't go higher than 2x.
@dejus 1.5x seems pretty good for podcasts that are a little hard to understand faster. And I do a few produced podcasts at 1x.
@MitchWagner I think 1.5x is the slowest I have any set to (it's my default), though I noticed yesterday that I have a couple of podcasts that play at 2.5x; I have them set to 2x, and Overcast's Smart Speed feature takes them up to 2.5x due to silence shortening. (And yet I'm months behind on the less timely podcasts; I subscribe to a lot.)
