Big skies out in the New Forest this afternoon. Glorious. Time spent with good friends: priceless.

@Miraz Oh, it was. We had agreed to meet up around my friend's work & when the weather permitted. She messaged this morning, I drove over & we went for a wander. Simple things, very much appreciated. I'm very lucky to live near such beautiful scenery.

@Miraz Depends on traffic/time of day, although things are quiet at the moment. About 25 minutes - it's 13 miles from me. Although the start of the New Forest is a bit nearer. And where I am we are surrounded by coniferous forest or ancient heathland. It's a lovely county.

@vanessa Ah, that is close. Its only a smidge further than I have to go for the supermarket.
