@philipbrewer Sounds like an interesting book. Thanks for your thoughts on it. I too prefer the whole food, whole movement approach and welcome brief stints in the sun.

@Miraz It’s a very good book. And it may be somewhat more nuanced than my brief review gives it credit for. There’s a good bit about places (like New Zealand and Australia) where it may legit be too sunny for more than brief sun exposure. And about skin color, which also makes a big difference.

@philipbrewer A few years ago I came across the info that the UV scale was created 1-10 in Canada or something. In New Zealand we need numbers in the teens as well. 😀 It’s the UV rather than just the sun, so cloudy days can be a problem too.
