@V_ LOL. I read a (not very good) book one time where the author didn’t seem to want to say ‘walked’ so the character ambled or glided or shuffled etc. 🤮

@Miraz oh dear such writing is so hard to read. And it just takes you out of a story. Although I do understand why it happens. It feels so wrong to constantly use the same word when writing dialogue.
