All up, power was only out for 20 or 30 minutes. Phew! No need to test out my new Portable Power Station.
@odd Power cuts aren't uncommon round here, though they're usually quite quickly resolved. Do you get many where you are?
@Miraz No, they are very uncommon, and usually last a very short period of time, but my “doomsday predictions” tell me I should prepare. We do have a war criminal next door, so better safe than sorry was my theory.
@odd Hmmm, seems to me it's a handy thing for a few hours of power being off. Not so sure about a whole doomsday scenario though…
