@adders Heh, your photos illustrate a longstanding grievance I have with cafes — the plate is there for food; the napkin to wipe the hands. Why oh why do they dirty the napkin by putting food (or a cup full of beverage) on it?
@hollie In NZ they often tuck the paper napkin partly beneath an item like cake with icing, for example, so then the napkin's all covered in icing.
@maique To be fair to them, they’d been open literally 30 minutes. We were their fourth or fifth customers on opening day.
