@Miraz so far so good, have taken it out on Lake Macquarie twice now, caught a couple of fish each time, had an enjoyable day out…all that salty fresh air is very tiring, but also very relaxing 😎

@matpacker What kind of fish do you get there? Good eating?

@Miraz mostly Yellowfin Bream, Flathead, Mulloway, Whiting, and squid, though being the largest salt water lake in the southern hemisphere, there’s lots of other species that visit during the warmer months.

@matpacker Interesting. Thanks for all those links. My fish knowledge is abysmal… Interesting to know about the lake too. I'd never heard of it before. 😳
