As a Kindle user, I’ve always been underwhelmed with the on-device font options. I would alternate between Bookerly & Ember, but never loved either. I finally took time to add multiple custom fonts. After lots of back-and-forth, I’ve landed on good ole Georgia. What do you use?

@Mtt Bookerly is actually pretty good for the Kindle, especially the earlier ones with lower pixel density. Nowadays I’ve settled on Palatino on Kindle and everywhere else I read things. The negative space in the letter forms helps to differentiate characters from each other.

@pgkr I have no major issues with either of those. In fact, I setup my parents using those two. I just preferred the look of Georgia (slightly bold) on the e-ink display.

@Mtt I was today old when I learned I could add custom fonts to my Kindle 🤯

@gregmoore Me too. Now, having learned it's possible, where do I discover how to do it?

@Miraz It seems to be a very easy process😁

@Miraz Simply plug in the Kindle to your computer (it’ll act like a thumb drive). Then drop font files (.otf or .ttf) into the fonts folder. That’s all!

@gregmoore Wish I would’ve done it sooner. I landed on Georgia, but this one was a contender too.
