@numericcitizen I’ve yet to delve into Shortcuts, but I do use Hazel and Keyboard Maestro a lot on the Mac. The key (pun intended) to getting good use out of them, I found, was a) getting help to wrap my head around how to use them — MacSparky does great video courses for both — and b) finding workflows that I could easily remember.

I agree with you about Rene Ritchie, his style of speech grates with me.

@alanralph @numericcitizen I use Keyboard Maestro a lot too. One specially useful feature for me is the Palettes so I end up clicking a button to do something and don't need to remember the key command. A palette can also help me remember a thing I might like to use.
