@matti That ice sounds very difficult to deal with. Do you have special shoes / boots for ice that grip better?
@Miraz For normal walks high top winter shoes are enough if youâre careful. But my partner recently had a trip to a national park where she used snow spikes that you put on your shoes. They are attached with rubber straps.
@matti Aha! Makes sense. Unless you ski we Kiwis rarely encounter snow or ice so have no idea how it all 'works'.
@Miraz I have pig shoes⌠đ We call them âpiggskoâ in Norwegian. They are winter/snow-shoes with studs/spikes in the sole. I use them only when itâs very icy, because you canât use them inside, or youâll ruin the floors/slip on tiles in shopping centers. They are called Ice-Bug, with Bugrip⢠and theyâre Swedish I thinkâŚ
