Well, not every day you had a 5.8 magnitude earthquake around here (was originally reported as 6.0).
@Miraz Yeah, it was a little startling. Originally thought it was a strong wind or a really low plane.
@lmika We had one a couple of months ago where it seemed like one of those huge truck and trailers that carry shingle was roaring through our kitchen about 2 metres from where I usually sit. Loud as, but from memory not too strong.
@Miraz I think the last one I personally felt was almost 10 years ago. I was leaning on a car outside while waiting for someone, and the car started to shake involuntarily for a good few seconds. I think that one was a magnitude 4. I can't remember experiencing one as large as this.
